A Qing dynasty red wedding cabinet with stunning, extremely detailed, original crown, featuring open fretwork, beautifully carved and parcel gilt lions and phoenixes, and multiple layers of intricate openwork. Displaying the finest craftsmanship, this cabinet is the epitome of Qing Dynasty style. The brass moon latch plate and handles are incised with auspicious symbols and are original to the piece. The door frame features black only with double carp and tassels, symbolizing the joy of union and abundance. The interior of this wardrobe has shelves and a pair of small drawers.
