A pair of provincial, continuous horseshoe armchairs displaying relief carvings of medallions on the back splats, double struts connecting the arms to the seat, unusually constructed “wrapped” seat frames starting from the back to the front legs, simply carved beaded aprons, and lower, well-worn stretchers also serving as a foot rests.  Original lacquer finish showing a bit of “wear and tear”.
