A pair of large, finely woven, three tiered bamboo offering baskets. The weave and use of interwoven brown and black dyed bamboo strips is very distinctive of the Anhuei province. These baskets were used in ceremonies such as marriage, birthdays, or grand openings. Fruit, cakes, candied fruit, and nuts were stored inside and the heavily laden baskets were carried with a shoulder pole that slipped through the handles with one basket on each end.
