A fine Taiwan arm chair, featuring rounded arm and back frames above and square legs tapering to hoof feet below. The back splats have three inlaid panels, the upper of relief carved auspicious symbols, the lower of flowers. The front apron consists of bat and vine carvings in relief while the lower humpbacked stretcher serves as a support as well as a foot rest.
